Storm Recycling offer a wide range of plastic recycling services across the UK, including an EPS recycling service for waste packaging and insulation. EPS is short for Expanded Polystyrene and is also known as Styrofoam.
EPS Recycling – Do You Collect?
Because of the light nature of expanded polystyrene we only collect once it has been compacted into briquettes as shown in the image above.
If compacted properly your briquettes should be firm and resistant to crumbling. Furthermore they should be uniform in size and stretch wrapped onto pallets so that pallets can be safely double stacked.
Do You Fish Packaging Boxes?
Yes we do collect Fish Packaging Boxes (despite the smell). The same rules as above still apply.
Do You Have Minimum Collection Quantities?
Yes! Realistically the minimum collection quantity for recycling is around 5 tonnes (5,000 Kgs).
It may be possible to collect smaller quantities than 5 tonnes but this may incur a charge.
Please complete the quote form below to find out.
How Much Do You Pay?
It depends on several factors, but mostly the quantity available for collection and the distance it needs to be transported. It will also be dependent on the prevailing market conditions.

Storm Recycling are committed to the environment and by using our network of plastic recycling partners rather than one central plastic recycling facility, we can minimise the environmental impact and carbon footprint of transporting and recycling your EPS briquettes recycling.
